    Hi All,
Looking for a new pair of highly fitted, lowrise, bootcut, and could use some pointers on brands. I'm 5'8", ~140 lbs, and thin/athletic build. I'm a cyclist so my legs are pretty muscular- maybe 18 inches at the thigh. Waist is ~29 inches, and ~30 at hips.

I'm looking for a fitted boot cut and low rise. I have a pair of 29 waist and a pair 30 waist Lucky's in the slim, lowrise boot cut style. I like them, although the fit around the butt is a bit tight (too many squats in the gym) and the fit in the crotch is a bit loose.

The other pair I have, which I like, are a size 31 citizens in a special edition cut that is basically a slim jagger bootcut. The 31 waist is too big, but otherwise I like these.

So, any recommendations for a slim, lowrise, highly fitted bootcut that will bring out a lean/athletic build? I like a bit of a raw look with contrast, but nothing over the top. thanks, and great message board!

^ 5EP LDB would look more of a straight leg when worn though, the bootcut is very subtle.

Nudie Bootcut Ola fits the bill; Regular Ralf might just as well if he can tolerate a slightly higher rise. But nothing will give the outdated flarez CoH look though.

Yeah, I just came across the Nudie bootcut ola they look great. Not sure if it is a dry, or if it has been prewashed. Not sure I mind the prewash as long as it's not excessive. What would people suggest? I agree, not really looking for flare, just some bootcut and the way the slimmer CoH fit in hips and thighs worked for me. thanks

Bootcut Ola comes in lots of different washes as well as raw. Have a look around.
Read up on raw denim before you decide to go with it just so you know what you're getting yourself into.

great, thanks for the advice. I'm going to seek out a place here (in Philadelphia) to try the nudies and 5EP. Any suggestions on places or best online sites?

    thanks!

i'm looking for some options of denim in a classic indigo color (not too dark). my current rotation is SExSC02 and 2 pairs of slim jims (black & dark navy).

i'm mainly interested in a few shades of blue to break up the color of the sugar canes and nudies (pretty similar coloring). slim fit, straight leg, not a huge inseam(<36") as i dont really stack.

i'm 6'2 180 for reference, and wear a 34 in the SExSC and 33 in the slim jims.

I was wondering if the ndg jeans would be suitable for a stocky guy at around 5'6 160 pounds with like 23 inch thighs near the hip. Earnest sewn fulton seem to fit me quite well. the thing the ndg jeans look pretty high rise and i have heard that high rise jeans dont fit too well on stocky guys. Can anybody confirm this?

    Agreed.

I'm not sure where to locate 5EP's, and the few places I've found sell limited sizes for >$250. I may be missing something?

Does it make any sense to buy washed nudies? especially in bootcut? (by bootcut, I mean no taper, and only subtle widening into the ankle). Perhaps Ernest Sewn would fit the bill? The Matthew Izzo shop is in my backyard so maybe I'll check out some ideas tomorrow.

5EP LDB owns; i wish mine fit better; they stretched out like 4 inches and are massive on me now (idk why, i'm not even close to that big) and I don't want to wash them yet [IMG]
