The only size available is a 36 waist. I'm not that big, unfortunately.

Unless you have to have them right this very moment, they may well restock. They also might have something else to your liking, including straight sven dry selvage in black i believe, with quite low prices on almost all of their nudies

Yeah, Cult's good at restocking rather often. Also, check the SelfEdge thread. I know there was a Nudie discount code a while ago and get the feeling that it might still be working.

Yeah, I think the Nudie discount at SE is pretty much permanent. My SSDS's were $205 I think. Might be able to find them cheaper but then again you don't get to help keep the greatest store on the west coast in business.

If they are raw, then I would. FYI, vanity sizing what it is, I am a 30 in Rag & Bone, a 30 in Corpus, a 32 in Earnest Sewn, a 31 in Nudie, but take a 29 in 5EP LDB raw.

so I warm soaked my oni blues (kabuki-vedge model, not sure what it really means) and am wearing them but I wanna go to the gym; they are still a little damp. The thigh and shin areas are dry but the hip and the opening are still wet.

    Will the jeans shrink anymore?
I don't mind if the waist shrinks but I don't want my thigh or legs to shrink :p

I'm going to have to second Whodini. I was really impressed with Good Society when I tried them on at Denim Bar. Inexpensive, Selvage, Organic Cotton and, I believe, made in Japan. Also I think they donate a portion of every sale to charity, hence the "Good Society" name. My bank accounts a little light right now, but as soon as it picks up I'm going to cop a pair from Mauro.
I think Good Society is designed in Japan, made in India. The company says their jeans are fair trade, but I am not sure if they are certified.

Who knows, but if you believe their company (and I'm not sure why you wouldn't), they own their own factory in India and oversee all of its production, hiring practices, worker treatment, etc. They seem pretty strict on the standard they try to achieve so it'd be hard for me to believe that it is all just a well-conceived fabrication (pun intended!).

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply that they aren't sincere in their fair-trade stance. Thanks for the extra info.

I'm looking for a nice pair of straight leg jeans, with more of a dark wash since I tend to dress up jeans frequently ;P. I am sort of interested in Raw Denim as a project, but not until later on in the summer, plus they fade which I don't really want faded jeans for this purpose. My budget for this particular pair is probably no more than $100, since I intend on buying one or two pairs of jeans before spending $200+ for a premium pair.

    any suggestions fellas?!

^ Weird. My S-002 (Regular Fit Selvedge) has "S-002" printed on the back red leather patch.

    Is the denim selvedge?

In any case, post actual measurements, we should be able to tell whether it's 000 (skinny fit), 001 (slim/original fit) or 002.

Yeah my red leather patch says nothing at all. Just a big block of red.

Yes, it is selvedge and I assume dry/raw. Look sthat way.

One tag says "regular fit straight."

    rolling vs cuffing

what is the difference in how they look and will rolling prevent the marks and rips that always seem to come from cuffs?
