What size Iron Heart 301S would I want if I fit in Skull 5507 30 and 29 Sugar Cane 1966? Same question with Diors 19cm (I can try these on in person though, so how tight do I want them to be when trying them on?). Just caring about waist measurement.

Also what other jeans have a really slim fit similar to Skull 5010s? I'm using my 29s for now but I don't button the top two buttons and want something that I can button up comfortably. Basically I'm happy with my 5507s and Sugar Canes when wearing HUGE boots, but I feel they fuck up my proportions with sneakers and other more slim shoes. My big problem is that I have thick legs so most slim/skinny jeans simply are not possible.

tldr; fuck being short and not skinny

I'm thinking about buying some Obey raw denim, but I don't have any experience with Obey clothing before. What is the general quality of their jeans? Thanks!

Don't bother. You'll be wasting your money because the Dior look is really only accessible to the tall and stupidly skinny- they won't be flattering and you'll be out a good $350. But if you want to try, be able to just barely get the clasp closed. Dior stretches a lot, but keep in mind as they stretch you'll be wanting to sag them lower on your hips.

I'm in between 3sixteen ST-100x and RRL Slim fit.

Price is similar for both, but I'm stuck what would be a better pair. Any thoughts?

    Thanks

RRL slims, cut on the ST is kind of feminine with the flair. RRL slims have a really nice cut.

What about if you get them hemmed even though you're small and stupidly skinny? [IMG]

I'm 5'5" but fit in size 27 so dunno how would that go with some DH19cm...

Being skinny is more important than being tall I'd say. Getting them hemmed is a good idea, because while fat guys squeezing into 19cms is comical, so are short guys with stacks three quarters up their calves.

Went to the Dior and APC stores today. No idea how dudes size down so much on those. I can wear 29 New Standards, 30 New Cures, and 30 in 19cm. Overall I sort of feel bad that I got spoiled with Japanese denim. APC is boring and Dior felt similar to Uniqlo jeans. Think I might just stick with my original plan to hunt down some Skull 5010s in size 30.

I will reiterate for the 1000th time that DH raws are a waste of money, imo. Coateds are amazing but the denim on DH raws is forgettable, only reason anyone would get DH raws is the fit

Are you sure you're going to fit Skull sz.30s? Skulls should be sized true, iirc, and the other brands you listed should at the least be sized down 2

Well I'm wearing size 29 skulls now. I can button them all the way but it's just terribly uncomfortable if I do. My size 30 5507s are just the slightest bit too big on me after stretching out.

For the 19cms I couldn't get 29s past my thighs. 30 in New Cures was a big struggle to get the last button fastened. 29 in New Standards was a little difficult too. Maybe I'm just weird.

How do you get the zipper to stay up when you size down on a pair of zip fly jeans? It seems like the waist is stretching fine after a couple of wears, but the fly doesn't want to stay zipped quite all the way up to the top.

    +1

I have just kind of accepted that my zipper will never stay zipped up to those last three or four teeth.

Hahaha +1, I highly doubt that there is an answer to this, but if there is, that'd be wicked for my Nudies.
