3.5 hours is a long time. I think the only thing that might shrink them some more would be a hot soak, like boiling hot water soak. Notice: you won't want to be in the tub with the jeans on when you do this.[IMG]
Luckily I didn't lose very much indigo at all in the cold soak. I'm thinking of soaking them tomorrow and just wear them around right now for the rest of the night. Anything wrong with this? I guess I should be doing squats or something. [IMG] [IMG] (pre-soak). I'll take post- tomorrow because the lighting sucks here (no flash).

i'm looking to get a pair of vans slip ons for some nudie bootcut ola dry jeans of mine. i am deciding between three colors are was looking for your opinion on this matter. the ones i am considering are:

    http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/9463399/c/9.html

personally, i am a fan of the last pair, the blue ones, but i have never seen them with raw denim and therefore don't know if they look goofy or not. that being said, i like all of the pairs of shoes, but i am just looking for the pair that would look the nicest (i.e. not clash) out of those pairs.thanks

I've read that the Nudie Average Joe jean had a straight leg but then I also read in the thread here that they have a taper from the knee down. Which one is it? Also, if it does taper, about how large is it?

[IMG] [IMG] [IMG] I think they still have some shrinking to do. The inseams didn't even shrink as much as I thought they would (which is fine). I'm thinking of doing a hot soak for a half hour or so. My issue is with the odd bunching up in the knee area. Any way to fix that?

jasonn not sure the fit you were going for but those look pretty good. and the knew bulge happens to all raw jeans because they form to your knees when you sit down.

yeah. the bulges just seem awkward. i'm doing a warm soak right now and it's already looking better.

    1 or 2.

I bought mine sized down 1's, and the waist was slightly large as well as the throughout the leg. I had to do a hot soak AND put them in the dryer to get the slimness I wanted. I think if I had just sized down 2 I could have gone with out the hot soak + dryer, which would been better for the jeans.

(Also keep in mind I do not wear 'skinny'/tight jeans, and that is not the look I was going for/got in the 5ep LDB.)

Fit looks good to me, assuming they'll stretch a bit and you'll get some space.

They look good except for the VISIBLE COCK from the front.

Does anyone know which is a slimmer bootcut, the 5ep LDB or the Nudie RRDS?

Hey everyone.. I'd like some recommendations for jeans & dress pants to try

I'm 6'2", about 192-202 lbs. When I'm on the slim end of the scale, 34/34 pants fit fairly well, but whenever I work out I have to go to a 36 waist to allow circulation in my legs and stop the pants pockets from flaring out. Tailors have said they can't reduce the waist of my 36's by any more than an inch (waist will go from about 33 to 34). So I'm looking for pants that are slim at the waist, and a little roomier in the seat and thighs. I'm not a $200 jeans guy but I'm willing to hit a few stores to find brands, experiment & see what works. The few store employees I've asked have been pretty clueless (part-time jobs, I guess).
If it helps, skinny leg and low cut are universally bad so far. Boot cuts are ok. "Worker" jeans fit best so far (I think) but I can't find any that look stylish.

Any recommendations on brands for pants or jeans? or does anyone have the same issues?
