If you get Diors make sure you can sag them (meaning don't go crazy on sizing down).

^ Nothing stretches more than APCs. Think people generally wear a size larger in Dior than APC (in similar cuts).

Can you explain why I shouldn't drop that much?

I have a 32" measured true waist. For APC's, I got a 29 NS. It hasn't arrived yet, but I assume that's should fit according to the charts and suggestions on these boards. I tried on a Dior raw pair of jeans today of the "19cm" type. I managed to squeeze into a 29 as well.

Now I'm wondering if I didn't go down small enough for the NS or if I went down too small for the Diors. Should the Dior's be 'comfortable' upon initial buttoning? Or should I have had to suck it up to get the top button done?

I'm trying to figure out what size Dior's I would need and whether I got the wrong sized APC NS's.

    Thanks in advance!

    Consider me corrected.

A few questions to the jean mentors out there 1) Why are Dior Homme raw jeans so expensive? Are they that much better made than APC NS? 2) What is a reasonable price I can buy Dior Homme jeans at and where would that be? 3) How much would one size down for Dior's raw jeans? Same as my APC NS or less?
Down 3, vanity sized 2 and 1 for stretch

Is it possible to stretch APC jeans in the calve area?

I presume they wont naturally, though i thought there may be an artificial alternative...

^ They stretch wherever you put pressure on them, which is mostly in the waist and top block. If the calves are too tight, you need to size up or try a different cut.

cross-post from naked & famous thread:

grey weird guys tts, originally sized down 1 but thighs were painted on

waist is a little bit loose, and the crotch thing is a bit puzzling

will this settle with wear, or should i bite the bullet and track down some ndg classic fit for 2x price?

really like the denim hue so might be willing to stick w/ less than perfect fit

the crotch looks a lot tighter than it actually is, less than apc -2

which is obviously part of the problem, hoping the man-toe will go away with wear

This brings up another question. How does one prevent ones pork and beans from hurting so damn bad. I can barely wear it for an hour before it feel as if my pork and beans have been flattened.

This may sound stupid but what is the best type of underwear to wear when breaking in raw denim? I keep giving myself wedgies no matter what I try, boxers, boxer briefs, trunks, and briefs.

If this is the case the jeans do not fit you.
