I do but if I wear the belt tighter than my jean's waist, it'll cause folds in my jean's waistband. And if i wear the belt loose, it sags and looks ugly.

    Use a fucking belt!

What if I soak it? Will it shrink? Is that a big factor in the initial sizing? But what if it stretches back out? Then it will be loose because it really seems like the belt will inevitably stretch out more than 1". I don't know how, but I keep seeing people with tight belts even after 5 months of wear, I keep making the same mistake and don't want to be wasting any more money. Should I just buy two belts and soak one of them while wearing my jeans and the other by itself? Will that solve my issue? I imagine one would shrink at first, then shrink again and be unusable... but the other one might shrink way too small and also be unusable. What do I do?

Maybe I should just go to the ask a question & get an answer section, instead of the ask a question and get an insult section.

I have 10% body fat, which is average or fit.

Hey ConcernedParent, let me know when someone answers your question. I've been trying to know the answer for 2 pages now.

Why don't you just fucking order the jeans, make the call yourself and if they don't fit or you don't anticipate they will fit, send them back for an exchange. Just about EVERY single place that sells UNSZ denim has information about how much they stretch and how much they shrink.

Maybe I shouldn't buy unsanforized, but I still want to know.

My original question pertains to all dry denim.
How the fuck do people get their jeans to fit tight at the waistband after 8 months of wear?

Mine always stretched out 2 inches or more, does that mean they size down 2?

cus I can't anticipate how much they'll shrink if soaked while being worn. God.
and if soaked, I can't fuckin return them. God damn.

Do I honestly deserve 2 pages of this bullshit?

If you don't know the answer, there's no need to inflate your ego here.
No need to post a reply to anything. If my question goes unanswered, I'll just call a store.

It's not a stupid question, it's rather simple if you have experience.

    k whatever.
Apparently questions pertaining to fit and waist sizing are subject to ridicule in this thread.
    I'm done here

It's me alternating between my late night arabic studies and trying to help some dimwit that seems to be mentally handicapped when it comes to doing any kind of research himself.
    Good night, ابن كلب!

people talk about sizing down 1-2 in every fucking denim thread holy shit, it depends on which jeans you by, there is no "one size fits all" answer also wear a belt to prevent excessive stretching

I've done all the research I can, unfortunately no one here cares to read the original question, which I even highlighted.
I'm not asking how much a pair of unsanforized denim will shrink.

HOLY SHIT! THANKS FOR ANSWERING MY QUESTION!! THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!THANKYOU!

ah, just didn't seem possible to size down 2 in most jeans I've tried on.
so combine sizing down with a belt to minimize shrinking. I never wore a belt initially. No wonder.
