^ Cheap Mondays are skinny as fuck, so if that's what you're looking for, then sure.

I just received a pair of Uniqlo premium Japanese denim slim fit jeans. It's a decent pair of selvage jeans, especially for the price; but they're a bit tight. A snug fit, let's say. Will they stretch with wear? Will they shrink if washed? In other words, should I return them and go for the next size up (+2'')? Thanks.

A "snug fit" is exactly what you want. They will eventually stretch. Conversely, when you wash them, which you shouldn't do to often, they will shrink back up.

Ok I read on wikipedia what "selvedge" meant but I am still confused, can someone give me a description in layman's terms.

Also I am looking for a dry jean with a standard, straight fit, which Nudie jeans provide this?

It's denim made on old-fashioned shuttle looms instead of modern projectile looms.

    Average Joe or Straight Sven.

OK, but I can't say they're comfortable at this stage, which seems to defeat the purpose of wearing jeans. I'll try to be patient and see what happens with prolonged wear. Thanks.

Any visible difference between the dry selvedge style and the dry jeans from nudie?

^ Selvedge jeans have a selvedge outseam. There's no visible difference unless you cuff.

I love the fit of my Levi 514's but want a higher quality denim.

    Any suggestions?

I have been wearing my Slim Jims since New Years Eve, likely around 36 hours per week (nearly every day, all evening). I'm not seeing any fades yet. I've never washed them and they are of course raw. What's going on?

Can someone tell me if these are raw denim or not?

    http://www.gilt.com/s/mendenim/product/11092705

Oh snap! Just noticed those have a (black) tab on the back pocket. Those are actually illegal to produce since that's considered infringing on Levi's trademark.

I can smell the Levi's lawsuit already.....

There are to be NO tabs attached between two pieces of fabric on the rear pockets

Sweet. A collector's item. Are they raw?
