Good Society slim (although they have much lighter denim) has a very similar cut. 101Z is pretty close, also the Eternal 864 seems similar too.

I have the 101z, but was looking for a slightly higher rise and heavier denim. I'll check out the others, but am I off base on the Iron Hearts?

The Iron Hearts 634S (assuming that's what you're referring to) is a straight leg jean with a significantly higher rise and larger leg opening than the 5EPxSF... The SEXIH01 jean is similar to the 5EPxSF but that sold out awhile ago.

You're right. I just checked out the leg opening on the 634 and there would be more than an inch difference at the cuff which may be more that I want.

You may want to check out the Slim Jim which is a somewhat comparable cut. It's a tubular straight leg but the rise and leg opening are pretty similar to the 5EPxSF.

My only hesitation with the Nudies is that the pockets tend to be on the thigh, but I'll check them out.

Well the other repros that you could check out would be the Somet slim and the FH310/3001, both of which probably have more appropriate pocket placement.

How slim is the Nudie Average Joe through the thigh? I am afraid of getting a slim pair of jeans since buying some R&B (never knew what model) sight unseen. These days I've been wearing 5EP vintange wash which is very relaxed. I want something closer fitting but not too slim either. Would the Average Joe fit the bill?

I'm looking for something similar to the DIor 21cms, but a little roomier in the thighs. I like the slim-slouchy look but my size 30s are too loose at the waist and too tight at the thighs. Any recommendations?

Edit: I should probably mention that I have ruled out Kicking Mule (not a fan of the back pockets) and 5EP (rise).

masa is just an estimated price, or maybe it'll go for a lot more.

I'd go with KMW Rocker and LEE 101z. I'm not a fan of the Academi denim.
