Not overdyed but Flat Head 4001 look great and the dying process on the denim is interesting. It'll be great to see how they fade.

Sizing seems consistent with my Nudie RR if that helps. And yeah, fit is similar (but not the same) as Even Steven.

again, not overdyed but nudie does a bunch of black jeans. i just got the average joe dry black coated. edit: i'm not sure why you would want overdyed jeans specifically. anyway, most of the major japanese manufacturers make several of their models in black, e.g. skull, samurai, flathead, studio d'artisan, etc.

Mine didn't stretch out much at all, but I bought them on the loose side.

I, also, keep my cell phone in whodini's pants. Keeps my jeans blissfully free of any unnatural fading.

I kindly ask my girlfriend to stick my phone in her purse. She's the only one who calls me most of the time anyways.

+1. Though I think wallet fades look cool on jap-repro type jeans, for the slimmer fits I just prefer general fading w/o it. When seated, (driving, eating, etc), I keep my pockets empty. It is helpful to have a willing gal and her purse nearby.

What's similar or close to the 5epxsf in cut? I have the 33 in that, but would love another similar jean. Slim and dark, with pockets on the ass and not the thigh.

    IH 21oz?

    Thanks,

    lefty
