First post...I was hoping someone can make a recommendation for me. I would like a pair of Sevens, boot cut, dark blue wash, "A" pocket, 98% cotton, 2% elastane, button fly. I'm having trouble trying to match these preferences with any particular jean on their website. The pair I currently own is T521080U, Cut# 717165. I bought these while shopping with a friend and they fit great, but I'd like the changes described above. Any recommendations? I wear a size 36, and my inseam is a 34.

This probably isn't the best forum to ask plus I have no idea what you mean by matching those "preferences with any particular jean on your website." Try honestforum.com

    Maybe it doesn't exist?

Don't buy from LVR if you're outside of Europe, you'll end up paying out the ass in customs fees.

hello gentlemen, soo, I'm finally trying to buy some raw denim...I had in mind 5EP SDZ in Rigid Raw and KMW 1950 Classic in Raw. As of the 5ep's..I'm a size 33 regular but i've read that the raw are a size larger so would you recommend a 31x32? ..I've also read that they have great long term fading but what about whiskering, honeycombs, etc...? I think i've read that some people don't wait long to wash these as opposed to other brands(for instance, kmw, nudie) that advise you to wait as long as possible...why is that? I originally wanted to get a pair of straight sven's in dry selvedge but I cant seem to find my damn size anywhere online or here in chicago (32x32) 32x34 might be too long though right, since I'm not a fan of heavy stacking? I'm 6'3"...most of my jeans have an inseam of 32".. I'm interested in a straight down fit but I don't want it to be too tight in my thigh, I guess they're athletic but from the knee down they're pretty skinny..I'm not looking to go any smaller than 17" in the knee and 17" in the leg opening or higher than 18". Which would fade faster? I don't mind waiting but I just don't want to have to wait a few months before I start to see any changes whatsoever..it's hard finding pics of of long term wear for both fits (kmw 1950's & 5ep sdz) Would you recommend any other quality raw denim in that price range? $200-$275 As I mentioned, i'm just jumping into it so please bare with me[IMG]

^^^ 1) http://www.styleforum.net/showthread.php?t=68358 2) Get a 32x34 and have them hemmed to 32x32. 3) The SSDS, maybe, but not by much. 5EPs and KMWs are fairly resistant but the bottom line is how much you'll wear them and what you do while wearing them. FWIW my 5eps showed more wear during the same time period as my SSDS. 4) RRL. 5) It's "bear," not "bare" unless you're asking us to get naked with you. (No thanks)

Just got some Levis 501 STF for like 30 bucks. Should I soak them in cold or hot water and will soaking lose the stiffness or color? The jeans as of now unwashed make my ass look like a needle haha.

My friends are telling me to not wash em or soak em at all and just wear them.

    What do I do?

It sounds like they need to shrink, so I'd wear them in the bath HOT for 30 minutes, hang dry for an hour or two, then wear them dry. You will lose some stiffness after soaking, but the water will help you set creases and retain a little stiffness. If you still need to shrink them, then try soaking them overnight in hot water once more- but that's all you're probably going to get.
