I recently caved in and got my first pair of dry denim jeans, a pair of organic dry Slim Jims with the darker indigo/white stitching. Though they were almost impossible to get on for the first to weeks (32x34) they've stretched out enough now that they are relatively comfortable. I run a lot however, and sometimes have trouble with slim fit jeans as they can make my legs (especially quads) look a little bit goofy, so I subsequently wear a lot of jeans with really low rises. I've worn these for about a month: should I stick with the Slim Jims or try another nudie cut perhaps or do these look alright?

Awesome, I'll stick with them then, thanks a lot for the input, hopefully I get some good fades when I wash them down the road.

I am considering buying a pair of nudies from a friend, but they claim the jeans were rinsed. Will this slow, stop, or otherwise hinder the fading process of the jeans?

rinsed is kind of a loose term.

soaking won't affect fades too terribly much.

Fading and indigo loss has more to do with agitation, and if they were machine washed etc.

How much do you recommend sizing down for KMW 1950s? For reference, I wear APC NS 29, Nudie SS 31.

should i wash my levis? i bought the shrink to fit ones in black, they look very nice, and i had a pair of rigid ones in blue before, and they looked terrible when i washed them. They got all wrinkled and the material looked terrible

I've had a few pairs of STFs before, and had incredibly varying results. Anywhere from 1 to 3 inches off the inseam after a soak, losing a ton of indigo in a wash or losing almost none, and so on.

Just wash 'em. If they get messed up, buy a new pair. They're only 35 bucks.

i dont care much about fading or whatever, i just dont want them to shrink, and im not sure if they are sanforized or not (how do i tell?

Thinking about some April77 sinners. Does anyone know how they fit? I'm thinking I want to go with my true waist 32? They are raw though.

i really want the dior look of a looser top block going in to a slim taper.

Anyone know what the deal is with the Cheap Monday YD sizing? In terms of waist (i've heard its all over the place?)? Also how tight would the thigh calves be relative to grim tims?
