The only solution is to earn more money. I have found myself taking on additional contract work in order to keep my newfangled purchases from eating into my savings.

If anything, I walk around non-clothing stores and think of the clothes and shoes I could buy. I've been holding off on buying my Xbox360/PS3 because I'm always thinking, "bro you could totally kop another pair of shoes, **** that".

I also went through a phase like that when I was new in SF... spent more than what I should have on shoes and clothes... but I'm still here and I'm not living in poverty. Don't sweat it.

Without SF, you would probably be wearing Hugo Boss suits with Kenneth Cole square-toe shoes. Be happy that you found SF.

I totally feel you.

Before SF:
A few shirts and a pair of pants every month or so

After SF:
3 MTM jackets, 1 MTM suit, and 11 MTM shirts in one trip to the tailor
6 pocket squares and 5 pairs of cuff links from Kent Wang within a couple orders
4 pairs of pants, 2 belts, 2 pairs of shoes, and 2 etro scarves in one trip to the local store
1 pair of CJs ordered from the internet
10 alterations to pre SF shirts in one trip to the tailor
