Glad to hear it went well, but in my experience, Dim Sum is almost always fun just because it becomes a comedy of errors as you try to figure out WHAT it is you just selected (hmmm... is it a noodle dish... or a boiled chicken's foot???) In terms of dating... I hate it, too. In fact, I'm just curious who actually likes dating. Being in a relationship is great because of the comfort level, but the whole awkward clamoring for the first few dates while you try to be both yourself and yourself-but-nicer-and-without-the-little-idiosyncrasies is so stressful and irritating. And, while you are focused on trying to put a good face forward, you are also trying to figure out if you actually want to spend more time with this person or if they're just wasting your time. I suppose if one likes just "going out" with somebody new now and again, that's fine... but if one is dating as a means to a longer relationship... it's not particularly "fun." Blechhh!

Yah typically my MO is either snatch them up and get married within like 2 days...or just F them now and then.

Hmm.... So romantic...
