Thank you... Although I know you're being sarcastic in a way.

Nice try though.

Also, it's really sad that you think that Kuwait or other gulf countries look like they do in Syriana.

Only because you decided to turn this thread fun...

Just because your shopping mall has a marina in it, doesn't mean all the desert has been built over. Kuwait isn't (yet) covered from border to border the way that say, Dubai is. I don't know if you're Kuwaiti or just living there, but either way you don't seem to have any concept of what lies outside the sixth ring road. One hint: hilly sand. Call it what you want, but the Army was sure glad to be able to hide from Saddam's tanks there in '90.

Oil is traded in dollars, no matter who the buyer is, and "petrodollars" is an accepted idiom. Deal with it.

Have a nice day. Support your local Bedou.

In Alberta, our petrodollars have built us a mall with a theme park, water park, ice rink, hotel, casino, an exact replia of the Santa Marina, submarines, a sea lion exhibit and more. All Kuwait has is a shopping mall with a marina? I guess they don't have as much oil as I thought...

As long as you stay away from Joe's favorite modern spots, then there's some outstanding Lebanese and local food. The shopping mall has a TGI Fridays though.
