I found a Kiton shirt a local high end men's shop yesterday in the sale rack. It is in my size (17.5). It is a very dark blue, kind of blousy, especially the sleeves. It has a modified spread type color. The fabric almost feels like a cotton silk blend, but I did not see a content label. The price was $30.00. The other Kitons in the store were regular retail. The fit wasn't great, and the breast pocked looked really low on the chest. I did not fall in love to be sure, but the price made it seem like I had to have the thing. I didn't buy it, but now wonder if I should have. Thoughts?

A. sounds like a very ugly shirt
B. If you were not going to use it/like it, then it is a lot more expensive at $30.00 than a regularly used $500 shirt.

Unless the fit issues could be easily tailored it's not a great deal unless the item actually looks good on you, regardless on the name on the label.

I love the fabrics on my Kiton shirts, esp for houston summer/simmer! Very high quality Riva cotton. Dont have a single Kiton shirt with pocket.....and a pocket thats low....mucho ugly!!! Now if you would take the pocket off...hummm

Almost a similar situation at NMLC 2 weeks ago, there was a very nice light blue Isaia shirt for $40.00 on sale...but with a pocket. I passed on it even though the shirt was fine...I just dont like pockets on my shirts.

Regards.
PS. On 2nd thought...you can wear it under a coat..and not see the pocket. I would have bought a new Kiton for $30.00.

you can take the pocket off a shirt if you don't like having pockets.

Just because it says Kiton doesn't mean you should buy it just because it's inexpensive. It would probably just end up sitting in your closet while you scratched your head wondering why you bought it.

Buy it and wear it to the beach or when mowing the lawn.
