Why not contact Russel hangers or one of the Italian hanger makers directly? I'm sure you could source something similar for a lot less. Bear in mind that shipping to the US would be pretty costly given how much bulk and weight good hangers can have.

I'd be interested to see what those hangers look like. The hanger with the widest shoulders that I have is a D&G one. It's a good 10cm wide at the shoulders. The next best one that I have is a pretty wooden Armani one that they gave me from the store. The D&G one is awesome though. The only problem is that if I used those for everything I'd have no room in my closet because each jacket would take twice as much space as it currently does.

What's so great about Huntsman's hangers? I have two, and they're no wider or better shaped than the plastic model used by Kiton and Luciano Barbera, or the more common Italian design used by Helmut Lang, Brioni, Jil Sander, and others.

if it will save the back of my suit collar/ neck area, i think it would be worth it. the hangers on container store are $15 or so; I'm considering it if i can get a look at one as a test-case. the hangers i've been buying LOOK nice, but I don't feel they are in the best interest of making my suits and sportcoats last 15 years!

I bought custom 6 solid cherrywood hangers with amazing shaped shoulders and pinless construction from a local store owner (who is revamping the store) for $4.50 apiece (he had 1000 custom made when he first bought them). They are as good or better than the $30 Oxxford hangers - very natural shoulder construction with an incredible finish. They weigh about 2 pounds each. Since I only have three suits in rotation (including a dinner suit, and in rotation meaning that I wear them for weddings and/or interviews) the other three hangers are used for casual jackets and occasionally, a hoodie

As another Evil Conservative (TM) - though of the UK variety - we care very deeply about saving trees. How else could we ensure our golf courses stay pretty and the view from our country retreats remain idyllic?

In my opinion, Huntsman, Russel, Toscanini, and Beverly are not a price or quality value when compared to my first choice above.

Alan C's several times mentioned hangers from Walgreen's are possibly the best price for a decent hanger at three for ten dollars (plus shipping).
