I don't understand this Size Chart

I don't understand the size chart here. I will link to it at the end of the post. It is an item from Amazon.com, and here is my question: Where are you supposed to measure your chest, waist and arms (although I wasn't as worried about my arms).

Do you measure your chest around the nipples? If so, mine is 52".
Do you measure your waist around the belly button, or where you wear your jeans? I wear size 40" jeans. Yes, I'm fat, thanks for noticing.
And how do you measure your arms?

Here is the item I was looking at, to the right of where it says "size" there is a blue link you can click on that says "sizing info". That is what I'm looking at. I feel like maybe my chest is XXL and my waist is XL. Maybe.

Looks like a generic size chart.

Chest at the widest point.

Waist at your waist. :embar: If you don't know where that is. Bend at your side. Then feel for the top of the hip bone.

Arm is sleeve length.
