If you knew how they made Corona, you would not drink it. I no longer drink it. It has a history of absolutely vile quality issues stretching back for decades. Example: the reason the bottle is clear is so that when, say, dead rodents or human appendages (yes, this happened) find their way into the bottles, they are easier to see and remove before someone buys and tries to drink them.

The comment about there actually being piss in the beer is probably much more accurate than you think.

My mother is a big beer drinker, and she and her current husband like to drink cheap American beer during the day and then break out Corona -- the "good stuff" -- for evening. I've never understood this, since Corona should be a strictly daytime beverage, and even then, it's basically a crap beer.

One reason beer in Europe has often been thought to have health giving qualities is because it lacked disease. Wort is boiled, so there is a kill point for all bacteria. Beer actually was healthier to drink than water. If there is something in there, it is not likely to be harmful, even if it is distastful.

Drink up.

This happens quite often, and not only in Corona's brewery. I have personally found mice in bottles of Dr. Pepper and Coca-Cola, both bottled in the U.S. of A.

In heat of the day I prefer either a "craft lager" (deschutes puts out a few on occasion), a Kolsh, or a lighter pale ale (alaskan pale especially). None of those are available in knoxville.

Oh, and Corona is to beer as IV feeding is to food. Same end result, but zero enjoyment in the process. Brings a whole new meaning to that old f***ing near water joke.

Was it on the same day? I imagine that'd be pretty damn funny to see happen to someone.

^No, in fact several years seperate the purchases. It was not funny at all; disgusting comes to mind. Perhaps revulsive. But not funny.

Not funny as in the "Haha Dakota Rube almost drank something with a dead rat in it and he's gonna get sick"
But funny in the spectator's view of seeing someone buy a pepsi at a gas station and get so disgusted b/c they found a rat in their drink.... they vow to never go to that gas station again, then they go to the gas station down the street for a mountain dew and find that there's a rat in that one too.

Maybe I'm just a dick though, entirely possible.
