1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Bouji, do you take naps after drinking?

I like to take naps; usually two a day.

On second, thought, MS is right. Double your consumption.

You clearly have a problem. Your health must be extremely poor-- I guarantee you are overweight (though you may deny it since this is the internet) among the damage you are doing to your liver and other organs.

I drank between 1-2 drinks a day for long period of time and I have always found when I cut back to weekend only drinking my health improved drastically.

Truer words were never spoken. I just don't get being permanently soused. Conne, can you explain it to me?

Compared to some of you posters' drinking habits, I must be a teatotaller. I go weeks w/o drinking alcohol. I happily consider that something to be far more proud of.

I am admittedly affected by the fact that my dad was an alcoholic and so was my first wife. It's always been fairly easy for me to stop using some particular stimulant/medication/drug. I experimented with cigarettes as most kids do and later smoked a pipe. I stopped. I experimented with pot as most did at the time. I stopped. I can drink and stop whenever I want to, far short of getting drunk. In fact, i think I've only been drunk a couple of times in my life. In short, I'm very happy that I didn't inherit the addictive personality/gene of my father. I hope those who do have this problem seek help and are successful in their recovery.

I'm with you. I probably have a drink or two a week and haven't been drunk since I was probably 22. I just don't like it much.
