Im 6'6" at 185 lbs and I can not find a shirt that fits me properly. I wear mediums but the length is not long enough. I wear a large and I feel like im wearing a wide dress. I need medium tall and I cant find any place that sells shirts in medium tall besides stores that sell 50 year old men shirts. Im only 20. Someone please help?

American Eagle, perhaps. Depends on the measurements, which seem to vary even within the brand's sizes. Still, midsection narrowing (tailoring) might be needed later, as it often is for men with more standard measurements.

Lots of 50-year-old men buy very nice shirts; what's wrong with those if they are the size you are looking for?

My brother is an inch shorter than you are and he has the same issues. If you can find a shirt that fits well in the shoulders and has long enough sleeves, a billowy body can be fixed (taken in) by a tailor.

If you are finding sleeves long enough and it's the body that's the issue, you probably just have to try some new makers (though makers may change patterns/lengths one season to the next), because I know I have a few shirts (one Etro and one Charles Tyrwhitt) that are so long in the body they would almost hide a pair of shorts, and I have to imagine those would be long enough for anyone with human physiology as I'm not exactly short myself.

Button-up shirts are discussed more in the Classic Menswear forum than they are over here. (N.B. you will be received better if you use one of the pre-existing threads for quick questions rather than starting a new one.)

I don't think MTM is an option for a 20 year old unless they're signed up with the Bank of Mum and Dad...

I was going to post what GoldenTribe has already covered: get one that's big enough to fit your arms and shoulders and then get the body of the shirt taken in. Tailor will do that cheap enough.

My suggestion for any short-in-the-body problem is to wear your trousers up to your armpits.

Good ,luck - I also never find shirts that fit, although I've built up a small rotation if those that do..
MTM doesn't always cost the earth, and you feel So much better in a shirt that fits!!!
