I understand why it is cute or funny for the kittens to talk like that in those popular little pictures that everyone is in love with but why do (presumably educated) members here and on other boards choose to do so as well? Poll to follow.

@ Gravitas: Didn't know you were an offender, glad we cleared that up. I actually can't think of anyone on this board that does it consistently, save for the Lolkwilkies thread (which would be nothing without it). More of a general question. Also, if you talk like that in real life...well, then that is right back to funny again.
