... before I was aware that that made me a douchebag. They cost about 180, but fit my 6'6 frame perfectly. Should I take them back and spend the money on a better pair (like Rag&Bone or APC) or just learn from the mistake and wear them?

Quite honestly, even if the opinion of others in this forum holds APC et al, in higher regard than Seven FAM, if you like them than why do you give a **** what strangers on the internet, who constitute a tiny minority of the public, think?

If they fit, wear them. As nastyandy said, this forum represents a tiny percentage no one gives a **** about.

If they fit well and you like them, wear them. Just don't think they're going to get you Soho scenester girl ass like a pair of Diors will.

A funny thing is that one of my favorite and most durable pairs of jeans is a pair of 7FAM relaxed that I bought in 2003. They're still holding up strong after what has to have been at least 30 washes (although they're obviously a bit lighter in shade now)

I think 7FAM makes some interesting cuts that can be flattering on many body types, and if you like stretch/poly denim they have some nice offerings.

You do see a lot of Amjack douchebags with them but some of them are with hot chicks haha

I agree that if it fits you well, use them. I don't think Rag and Bone makes an inseam longer than 34 inches which may be too short for your 6' 6" frame.

Good luck.

Clearly you cannot read as he stated it fits him perfectly...

the only reason i'd not buy them is that they show up at the discounters now (like off saks and nordstrom rack) so paying full price would be the only error i can blame you for, you'll probably never meet any of us anyway so who gives a **** what we think?

Thanks for that, but I think he was referring to my statement about possibly buying a pair of R&B's. I also appreciate everyones' input regarding 'personal opinion' and the niche market that this forum represents, but I respect what you all have been saying about and doing with your jeans. I love the underground aspect of things so in the future that is what I'll be focusing on. Thanks for the advise. Oh, and as far as the caring what strangers on the internet who constitute a small percentage of the population think, I tend to cede my own opinion to expertice in music, movies and fashion in the same manner that I do with my health (ie doctors) because I assume they have a better foundation of knowledge. It's been working out great so far.

Agreed with all others. If they fit, wear em! Rag&Bones will definitely be too short for you at 6'6". APC will probably be right at the standard length.

I'm concerned that, from your post, you're too worried about the internet elite. A pair of Seven's (most likely washed) and a pair of APC's (most likely raw) couldn't look or fit more differently. I think Seven makes some decent, subtle washes that look fine on people. If that's what you normally wear, do it.
