I dont really dig on too many of the military looks but I like that jacket. It would never work for me but if you can pull it off I say do it.

Dude I have just seen your shoes on your myspace site. Pretty sweet are they Alfredo Bannister?

I might be wrong but that looks very similar to a WWI-era tunic.

Perhaps google WWI re-enactment groups and ask where they source their gear?

eBay is your friend. I snagged a Swedish WW2 gray woolen tunic/jacket that was pretty much NOS, in pristine shape for $17 or so

Nope, but I bought them at a store in Shibuya (there is an Alfredo Bannister store in Harjuku, basically the next hood over). I love the shoes, one of my favorite pairs, Ill probably buy another pair or two this summer.

I'm begining to wonder whether I'm ever gonna get to wear it. It's 90F at the moment in Melbourne. I'll have to wait until May June July ish to show you.

I dig the mao suits because I think they look quite radical, though I couldn't pull it off. Otherwise, unless it has some other significance, anything that's too fake-military-style [or camoflage print for that matter] is not something I go for.

Looks costumey to me. If you're asking WW2 reenactors where they get their clothes, it's time to take a step back and tone it down a touch.
