Those are pretty reasonably priced condos. Especially for being in more "desirable" areas.

This 2BR for less than 400K? Lol, I need to move to Seattle ASAP.

You guys really should move to Dallas. I'm still in the suburbs for a couple more years, but once I can I'm moving to a condo near downtown.

Same $400K list price here gets you 2,400sf.

Or $300K list price gets you 1,240sf in the best neighborhood in town with a doorman.

Or for a bit more, $469K, gets you 2,080sf in one of the best doorman buildings in the city.

^^ I've been told this before. I never understood why dallas/texas in general was so cheap. Don't they have pretty good industry/employment? Why don't more people move there?

So what. I'd live there for low taxes and low real-estate prices.

Yea, ridiculous. I have been looking for a home in those cities for the last 1 year. Anything less than $1.5M is a shack. Add Hillsborough, Atherton, Portola Valley, Woodside, and Menlo Park to the list too.

Its what they call "land value". Most likely the buyer of this place will flatten the existing house and spend $600 - $700k to build a 2,500 - 3,000 sq ft new home. Total cost will be around $2 - $2.2M which is what new homes in the 2,500 - 3,000 sq ft costs in that neighborhood.

Sounds insane but that's what prices are like in parts of the Bay Area after the "correction".

I also never said that I expect to be able to afford these places. Nor am I posting very many places that are 20-30x what I make in a year. So... you are an idiot?

Someone really wants to pick a fight. To bad they are boring and aren't smart enough to be able to read... Just like most people who decide they want to troll me. Why is that?
