I’m thinking of buying a suit in Milan at a place called “Bernini Philosophy” for 180 euros.

Are they fused or canvassed? I feel like them always being on sale gives a sketchy vibe, but they have a physical store and the owner told me they are fully canvassed. Bernini Philosophy, if not can anyone have recommendations on where to buy suits here?

I'm sure you know they're not high quality suits for that price (which is why you're asking). But if that's your budget, the suit fits well, and it meets your needs (rare or occasional wear), then it's a reasonable price for anything that looks good on you. Don't expect it to be a long-lasting suit that can handle frequent wears.

As a rule, 180 euro doesn't get you well-made, fully canvased suits unless you're buying vintage or being very lucuky at some end-of-season sales.

Paying a lot doesn't guarantee that you get quality, but paying little almost guarantees it. If you do want to buy quality, a decent place to start is to look at the Classic Menswear forum section, and see which brands are being discussed. While it's not comprehensive, most brands discussed frequently will have some decent offerings.

Alternatively, don't worry so much about things like canvasing: buy things that fit you and makes you feel good. Develop your style first, then once you know what you're going for, you can invest in more expensive pieces.
