I would think they would just ship rather than bring them, would assume they got plenty of other things to carry around

Wallet is available here:

I have it and although it is nice, the gold finishing on the corners wears off pretty fast if you usually keep your wallet in a back pocket.

I had the same thing happen (although I wore it across a range of pockets, so I don't think it's limited to the back pocket). Is there a way to fix this/get it refinished?

Ordered my first MTO Husbands garment with Isaac yesterday. It was quite a joy working with him. I ended up choosing a 14oz. grey high twist wool through Standeven. https://www.standevenfabrics.co.uk/product/15008-grey-multi-stripe/

I did it in the style below, but with regular flap pockets and a Milanese buttonhole.

I reached out to Husbands and I was told that Husbands will be restocking the:
  • JODHPUR BOOTS IN CRACKLED PATENT LEATHER – BLACK
At the end of February with the release of their new Spring-Summer collection. I’m curious if they will sell some at the NY pop up. I have been looking for a 41/42 for the longest time.

I also asked about:
  • WALLET IN EMBOSSED CALFSKIN – BLACK

They don’t know about the wallet yet, but it looks like the idea is to make it a permanent staple. It looks like I will buy the one from the Oakroom since an idea of a restock is uncertain.

Has anyone had success with using the Husbands MTO service to get a slightly more classic / traditional cut from them ? I am looking for a suit for my wedding and have done the rounds at all the big paris houses (atelier de luca, jean-manuel moreau, cifonelli, many more,...) and the Husbands shoulder and is by far my favorite, its almost magical on me. I really like their 70s fashion forward style but Im not sure its what I want to go for for my wedding.

I'm wondering if they brought the jacket length up a bit, bring the cut in at the waist and do a pant cut that is a bit more tapered and that doesn't sit too much on the shoes that it could be exactly what I am looking for. But I also wonder how much room they have to move in their cuts and whether or not moving too far away from their house style will just break the look.

What you’re describing doesn’t align with a classic, traditional suit cut, which would typically feature a more generous fit, a longer skirt on the jacket, and a fuller drape on the trousers. However, I see exactly what you mean. It matches their New Morrissey model for the jacket and the Delon trousers cut. I haven’t seen it in their ready-to-wear collection for quite some time. It would be worth checking whether they still produce them. That being said, Husbands is certainly capable of making what you’re describing. I’d recommend reaching out directly to Isaac with these references to see what he suggests.

If I may offer one piece of advice, don’t be afraid to be unconventional with your wedding attire as every guest will be dressed exactly as you described. Why not stand out with a more classic cut, not necessarily one with a strong ´70s feel, which Husbands also executes beautifully? You’ll look like a true prince in that kind of suit.

Whatever you decidefor the suit, congratulations on this new chapter in your life. I wish you great happiness and longevity.
