KalemSoft Player. I have the version for my Pre. It works amazingly well and streams very quickly over wifi. Cost me 6 bucks after the trial. Totally worth it... You can download a trial from their website. Google it. Pretty sure it's just kalemsoft.com.

There is also a media player on Preware. It should be one of the most recent additions. It supposedly plays every type of file, obviously not over wifi but with 32gb (or 16) you should be able to get a good amount of movies on there, no problem. It's free too, I think.

Thanks for the media player recommendations guys! I'll try them out soon.

Spent some more time with it on Sunday. I'm enjoying it and all, but I have discovered a few more bugs here and there. I hope we see those promised patches soon to clean a couple of them up. Had to reboot the device twice on Sunday.

I will say, that I'm looking forward to high resolution tablets. It's going to make the reading experience much more enjoyable. At these current resolutions, it's too easy to notice the pixels while using it.

The Kindle app got an update yesterday. If Amazon is still updating their app for the platform, that's a good sign.

Check Slickdeals by way of the links posted earlier. They will take you to the main threads. Last I looked, rumors were today.

Yeah, I doubt that. Best bet at this point is to wait for people to sell them off.

I tend to agree. Keep an eye on Ebay.

This thing is the biggest time waster since the internet was invented (thanks, Al Gore). Whoever says these make life more efficient is nuts - My wife bought one this morning and I've been screwing around with it all evening.

They didn't say, but it's safe to assume we will get some added features and a bunch of bug fixes. I'm happy with knowing that.
