Really? Maybe what I consider slim is skewed. Trust me, I'm sensitive to nuthuggers - that's why I can't do the whole raw denim thing buy a size down so they stretch. I think the pic makes them look slimmer than they actually feel. But don't get me wrong, I agree these are cut on the slimmer side. That's exactly why I bought them.

I don't think your perception is skewed. My reality, on the other hand, unfortunately is. Those pants aren't nut huggers but they're pretty sleek. I don't think I could wedge my thighs in those puppies and be able to sit down without risking a button popping off of the fly.

I own both. Neither fit me all that great but in all fairness I haven't had the chance to bring them to the tailor yet (both winter weight pants). I bought my HY pants in my normal waist size and they are a bit too low rise for me, although the tailor should be able to let whatever fabric is in the seat/crotch and they may fit perfectly. I sized up in Ed's panta's based on the measurment's alone which seemed really slim. They fit great everywhere except there is too much room in the crotch/thigh area, again something the tailor should be able to take in with realative ease. Most people say that it's easier to take in pants than to let them out. Who knows both pairs may come out fitting fantastic with minor alterations but neither fit perfectly off the rack and I'm not that strange of a body type.
