from JCrew, on sale about 65% off. I've always wanted a jacket like this, a throwback to an ivy/collegiate style sportcoat. I know how I'd wear it, just wondering what anyone else would do with this.

I would wear it just like they have it on the model. I personally think that a striped jacket like that should really go with a clean cut look. No distressed attire with that jacket in my opinion. I am normally not the type to wear a polo shirt, but it looks good with the jacket in that picture.

I'm still a newb when it comes to how things should fit, but doesn't it look a bit long?

To offset the lenghtening effect of vertical stripes I would wear this with some light colored trouser shorts, knee high argyle socks, and white chucks.

The jacket looks like "normal" jacket length on the model, which seems long if you're used to "streetwear" blazers which are cut a lot shorter.

Rome, kinda going for the Angus look?
