Based on your Twitter posts, I thought you were into wide trousers these days?
Only with really casual SWD type looks. Basically stuff like Lemaire.

As promised. 30” waist, 38 jacket, 10.5 us shoe, 5’9” tall, 9.75” leg opening here. Not my go to, but I like it. I need to lengthen the sleeves on the jacket. I’ve thought a lot about slimming the pants and am leaning against it at the moment.
Share the data please.
Leg Opening: 19.5”
is this circumference or diameter?

I took both of these vintage PRL pants to the tailor to be tapered today. They both have 10” leg openings. I was deciding between 8.5 and 9 for the taper. I went with 8.5. I should have them back in week. Fingers crossed.

I think current Ralph Lauren trousers have a leg opening around 7.5 or 8. Ralph has apparently changed his mind. If I had to guess I would say Ralph designed them that way because that was the fashion at the time, not because he thought a 10 inch leg opening would be an enduring classic. Why ruin those beautiful trousers??
