I took two pair of Isaia cords that I got from STP to the tailor today in order to get them to fit my slender frame. I was surprised at just how much they needed to be taken in. When I remarked on how how much work they needed through the seat and thigh, my tailor said, "you should look for Italian pants." But of course they are Italian pants!
It is my understanding that some Italian makers have different cuts for the US and European markets. If so, how do I find clothes cut for the European market here in the US (without traveling to Europe). Are any stores known for selling Euro marrket clothes? Websites of European stores?
Any help would be appreciated, the tailoring costs to make clothes fit my slender frame are turning great STP prices into so-so deals.
Thanks!
