Do you write RJMan's jokes?
whoah, whoah, whoah
trump's signature is to wear some horrible bright satin tie in a color that clashes terribly with a white shirt.
I am not against the all solid look and do it from time to time. On the right occasion, it elevates from "boring" to "super sophisticated.'
After speaking with the groom re what he and his wedding paty were wearing the sand colored linen rig I was going to wear was out of the question. So the next best thing was white and I did not want to wear all white. I could have done a different color ribbon, tie and square but I chose to go with what I had since I had just purchased the shirt, pants, jacket and shoes.
They actually were pretty pimp. Had them dyed navy and sold them when we got back stateside.
Between this and your snook cocking in the other thread, I may have to report you to the mods.
It hasn't been 24 hours yet so I can still name drop Tom Wolfe, right? He really made me laugh at one point, for some reason I asked him about his white Cadillac and he kept using "pimp" as a verb, as in "It's very pimped out" and "I had to pimp the carpeting the floor mats because the facorty stuff was very dull." The he described how hard it was to keep clean and he said, with total seriousness, "One of the things I learned from experience but that was hard for me to accept is that, if you are going to pimp, you have to get used to synthetic materials."
Remember, I bought those specifically for a beach wedding (as well as the rest of the outfit, tho the jacket have given me great service, and I needed at least 1 white shirt) to be worn for an afternoon and then sold. If they were any shade of brown I would still have them.
Did he do the pimp roll when exiting this cadillac? He could totally get away with it.
I heard he wears bespoke G&G's, did you see his shoes? What style?
I think you can milk that for much longer than 24 hours, Manton. Keep in mind that if you keep telling the same anecdote, it goes through an annoying phase, sure, but eventually it becomes charming.
I like his steez
I don't like his collar gap. Probably due to age though.
I was in that room yesterday!!!!!
Umm, can u please get Tom Wolfe on teh StyFo? That would bring the forum back to a high watermark of quality, especially after these excellent threads of yours.
