Sooooo, summer's coming and I want to get some new clothing if I will be able to afford it!

Anyway, talking "motoracer" style here. Not rocker nor bomber.

Does anyone actually wear leather jackets in 25 or 30C?

Planning to get me some cotton button up shirts, wondering if I will be able to wear a leather jacket as well without getting too hot.

Good to know before it actually happens especially when I may need to plan ahead and make some changes in what I'll be wearing and all.

...............or in other words I'm just looking for something to put on on top of my buttonup in 25-30C because a sole button looks like it's lacking something to me. I could also go with a blazer instead, but having a leather jacket is a) more versatile and b) you can wear it in fall and spring as well!

If it gets up to 25-30 I wouldn't wear anything other than a T-shirt. The important things to look out for are leather types and lining. Stick with lamb or goat for leather as its thinner. Make sure lining is cotton or natural fiber. Synthetics don't breathe as well. Bemberg might be okay for a lining as well.

Thanks for advice on the lining. I haven't seen a jacket with lining that wasn't synthetic yet so I should look further if I am to wear a leather jacket in the sun!
