My fuzzy mohair cardigan is too out there in today's world to be considered old mannish.

Incidentally, fuzzy mohair was popular in the '50s and '60s.

IIRC electric blue, right? I liked it a lot, but couldn't pull it off myself.

At risk of being characterized as a "fugly granny", "I'm Eagle...and I wear cardigans"...Five of em to be exact (nine, if we count my cardigan sweater vests)"! Seriously, during the colder months of the year, I can't recall a day passing, on which I wasn't/am not wearing a cardigan or a tweed or corduroy jacket. It's all about comfort. The wife tells me I look "very grandfatherly", which is fine with our grand kids!

Indeed, it is a good look. Enjoy it!

Im not sure with what to layer with a cardigan. If for example you have a V - neck cardigan what should you wear under it as a layering effect. Would it be best to wear a round neck t-shirt or a V-neck t-shirt under a V neck cardigan?

Yeah, you're going to have to explain v-neck cardigan to me.

Anyway, either could work, I guess.

Coincidentally, I'm wearing the cardy that inspired this thread today. No full-length shot, but here's a quick snap:

Looks good HF

I was at Zara and the SA showed me this DOUBLE BREASTED cable knit chocolate brown cardigan. It also had a shawl lapel...very interesting. I tried it on and it fit really well but it was a very daring look...not something I would reach for but for very few occasions.
