Only wear one if you're cool enough to also have a time machine.

I'm sorry my friend, there is no place for a bowtie in high school.

    Two questions:

    1. do you go to a private boarding school? That's where I picture high school kids wearing bowties. I'm thinking Exeter/Andover...
    2. What do your parents think of you cavorting with the white devil?

I went to a school where everyone wore ties and collared shirts (tucked into) grey wool trousers and black leather shoes as a bare minimum. Often we were required to put on the school blazer as well. Polos and shorts were to be changed out of once sports were over.

I think the only school where you won't be out of place (snickered at behind your back) is Eton, seeing as it's part of the uniform.

That's Australia where unifroms are compulsory in public and private schooling so the only way you could be the worst dressed in school was if you had your blazer collar popped up, top button undone, and an untucked shirt.

Oh and also the dreaded white sock.

And the terrible steel toed, commando soled 'dress shoes' some kids wore until the finish of the corrected grain leather peeled away at the toe.

    1) I go to a public school, where most people where most people wear sweatpants/jeans and a sweatshirt.
    2) She's actually just a really good friend, and I'd appreciate if you don't be mean to people you don't know.
