How to unwrinkle a wool jacket...

shall I have it pressed and dry cleaned?

Just picked up an EG norfolk and it isn't as crisp as I'd like for spankin' new

are you sure that's not how it's suppose to be? EG tends to give their garments that used, depression workman era look.

Of course you can wear it however you like, but it is not supposed to look "crisp". If it has creases and wrinkles from shipping, I advise that you give it a good steaming (the hanging it up while you shower thing will work), but otherwise, I would really just leave it. The wool versions of the jacket, especially, I think look better a little wrinkled looking. The melton and boiled wool versions of the outerwear certainly should look a little rough.

If you really want to get rid of the creases, hang the jacket over the showerhead and turn the hot water on for about 10 minutes. So far worked really well for my various coats.
