How to rock high tops properly

Just wondering. I only wear high tops with skinny jeans so that they aren't completely covered up. With a straight leg cut I can keep the jeans behind the tongue but then the back just flares out and looks goofy.

Since fans of skinny jeans are arguably a minority what does everyone else do when wearing high top sneakers?

I just let my pants cover them (i wear slim straight legs, a cut between levis 511s and 514s). no need to intentionally flash. they'll naturally do so when you sit down

For my high tops (skytops, androids), I do a full tuck.

For my lower/mid tops (PF Flyer glides, etc), i only tuck behind the tongue and let the rest fall out.

For my drag show, I shave up and tape up.
