how to remove ink from tie

is it possible to remove ink from a silk tie (a Robert talbott)? Can a cleaner do it withour ruining the tie? Would the spot removal fluid in a do it yourself drycleaning kit work? Any advice from someone who's experienced this problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
