I bought a Thursday concert shirt yesterday, a small, and it fits perfectly. Hasn't been washed yet. How do I avoid shrinking? Or minimize it?

If you can't air dry, dry on low.

Will I have to do that every time or just the first couple?

Every time. You should be washing everything you care about cold and drying it low anyway.

I buy tshirts that I cant afford have shrink and just hand wash them in cold, hang dry. Stretch em out while damp if need to.

    also wash them inside out
cold water wash (and if a dark t-shirt, use those new cold water wash won't fade detergents) on the delicate cycle instead of the normal cycle (less agitation)
    line dry
i'd recommend using the air dry setting on the dryer instead of low which is still a heat setting

I air dry everything that I care about except for underwear and T shirts which I demand be able to be tossed in the dryer on maximum.
