I am 5'11'' 200lbs. I could lose a few pounds according to my ideal BMI. To be honest I don't look bad with my shirt off. I have some love handles and a little belly fat but I think most of the time it is my clothes that make me look fat.
If there is any truth to the BMI system I don't really know since it doesn't account for body type or proportions and stuff like that.
I would say I have an above average shoulder width. In other words I am pretty broad shouldered for my waist size. When I buy a shirt or sweater is ends up fitting great in the shoulder chest area but being all baggy around my waist and I hate it! It makes me look way fatter than I am. Is there any tips to prevent this besides expensive tailoring?
It may partly be just me being self concious so maybe I should just lose the 15lbs and not worry about the clothes?
