This show is terrible with silly predictable name dropping.

Essentially someone just reads a few fashion blogs and writes scripts with interchangeable hype words

yep.

I don't get why the **** they're following the ex-girlfriend's plot around. She's completely out of the main plot. The mobsta guy doesn't really have anything to do with anything either.

It's like they said "hey we want these actors" after the whole plot was written, so they have to write in extra plots with no relation to the main story.

Rasta Monsta is basically identical to their Crisp denim line.

Ex-girlfriend plot is there because Ben's most likely going to get back with her sometime.

Wow, yea your right. Never realized it but the Rasta Monsta sub plot does paralell the main Crisp plot. Wish they would incorporate more NY culture but the shows alright, needs more cudi.

Needs more of that jewish banker guy. I remember him from an old show years ago with John Cho and was pretty funny.

He was funny in the American Pie movies too.

As to the ex-gf plot, her story with her design firm isn't dissimilar to the Crisp/Rasta Monsta story either, nor is that of her hotel-developing boyfriend (though we see those two to a lesser degree).

Leave it to some loser on the Internet to call women (he couldn't pull) at a party (he couldn't get into) 'beat/old.'

Haha.
