1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I've got no butt but wouldn't mind having one. Are there any exercises I can do (best at home)?

Squats yes. However everyone is built differently and for some people the squat does not hit the ass as much as the quads/hams. I am one of those people.

For me, the best ass exercises are:

    1) Deadlifts
    2) Stiff-legged dead lifts (you can really feel the glutes being worked on the way up)

Interesting. Squats hit my ass and quads big time, but my hams not as much. He can always try sumo squats too. But yes, deadlifts are necessary too, right on.

If you do full squats (use a lighter weight) where you go as far down as possible - thighs beyond parallel - you work the hams/glutes more. Deadlifts, especially romanian or straight leg will build your hams and glutes. You can also do leg curls if you don't have a place to deadlift/don't know good form. I had been working out for 5-6 months when I hooked up with this one chick. She said she loved my ass and kept grabbing it. I didn't really know I had developed some sort of curvature, but, lo and behold, I did.

Yeah chicks like big asses on men come to find out. I do full squats, ass to the ground with as heavy a weight as I can do for 5x5. My hams probably are being worked, but I just don't notice the soreness perhaps because my quads are often in intense pain after a squat session.

Interesting, I only do ass-to-grass so maybe that's why I'm not hitting my ass muscles as much. I couldn't imagine doing them any other way though. It feels so good to go all the way down. [IMG]

Starting Strength plus tons of food = ass and thighs with the appearance of still being "trim", due to the fact that your chest and shoulders are so big that your waist looks small in comparison. That's what's happening to me at least. I'm up to a 35" waist size but still look skinny b/c my shoulders/traps/pecs are blowing up as well. SS might as well be magic as far as I'm concerned.

Sprinting can be very effective for posterior chain development.
