How to get rain/water marks out of a suit short of dry-cleaning it?

I got caught in a sudden downpour last week while wearing my suit. I left it to dry, and most of it turned out fine, except one spot on the lapel. It's a little shiny and off-coloured, not easily noticeable... but now that I've seen it, I can't unsee it. What's the best way to get rid of a rain/water mark short of taking the suit to the dry cleaners? I just haven't taken it to a dry cleaner cause I was told not to take it more often than I have to. It's a new suit, I've only worn it to a couple events.

A good clothing brush ought to do the trick... steaming if part 1 doesn't is completely successful.
