I haven't sorted through all the responses here, but I'd suggest learning how to play an instrument. I did this a few years back. If you don't want to talk to anybody or just hole yourself up, it's great. It really makes you think about something else while you're learning, and once you've gone a bit into it you can express yourself through how you play.

It was a great therapy for me, and I still use it for dealing with everyday problems.

I think the quote "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened" could be appropriate [IMG]

Women are peculiar. You can't live with 'em, and they can't pee standing up.

Like others have said, I've seen many that fail in tears, my own attempt included. I've only seen one that kind of succeeded, and that's because one of the persons involved moved to be with the other after a few months.

When mine fell apart, I was despondent and dejected for months, thinking of reasons for why it was my fault and how sorry I felt for myself. Just doing things to get my mind off things was what worked, just exercising, working on my art, and being around my good friends. What finally made me get over it was just getting out and meeting new people. Still took awhile though, and it was a rough time before it finished.
