Kinda a weird question, but how do you get nice looking stacks with raw denim? A lot of the time I get some weird oblong bacon leg thing going on. The first photo is a wings/horns straight leg denim, the second photo is a 3sixteen straight leg. Both measurements are almost the same, but the Wings/Horns denim fits so much better, the stacks sit nicely on top of one another, while in the 2nd photo(3sixteen) the stacks are more like random bulges. How do i get my stacks looking like the first photo, instead of the second one? Is it the denim itself?

Case in point:

I guess, besides fit, it is to do with the weight and rigidity of the denim.

Just wear them. Also, first pic simply appears to have a longer inseam.

If you wear them in, the stacks will form.

Honestly, I dont like either jean though. The both appear too full looking to me.

I prefer a slimmer jean.

tapered leg, heavier denim (12oz+)
This is backwards.

There's three things: the denim has to be narrow enough that it won't bulge out, and lightweight enough that you won't have stacks forming on your thighs. 10-12oz, 19cm hem, and at least a 36" inseam seems to be the sweet spot.
