Any tips on having a square hold its shape/spot in the pocket? Mine always seem to slip down and lose shape...any ideas? I tend to use a thiner type more often then not.

It really helps if you can figure out how to fold it at the right point such that it's touching at least part of the bottom of the pocket. This can be surprisingly hard to do with angled pockets, but as long as it just slips around I try not to be too fussy.

They probably take more adjustment than any other part of a man's clothing.

Ironing helps, unless you're using a puff fold.

Thin silks are the worst. Heavier silks, like squares made from some of Sam Hober's printed English silk, will stay put.

Starch. Pocket squares are the only thing I recommend it for.

Deal with the fact that things are not perfect and they will move and change and shift throughout the day.
