These Aldens have been through it. The toe on the pictured shoe has some significant wear and the toe has a crease on the top. Any way to blend the scratches on the toe and remove the crease? I’ve tried applying Renovateur several times and massaging the crease to no avail. Thanks.

Your burnished off the old polish and some of the pigment. I suggest stripping the shoes with acetone and return them to a clean state, and then condition with Bick4 or Renovateur. Recolor with shoe cream or one of the Saphir dyes if the shoes are too light. Finish with wax of your choice.

I tried renomat to strip and renovateur after, and wax. Thinking I might should have dyed a little, but I didn’t want to get them too dark. This might the the best I can do with the condition.
