OK, this might be sort of a weird/obvious problem. But I'll ask anyway because it gives me fits. Some days I'll arrive in NYC in the morning or early afternoon when it's hot, very hot, and stay until early/late evening when it has gotten cold. Naturally I'll want to wear a light shirt when it's hot and a light jacket/heavy shirt when it's colder. The question is, how do I carry the additional layer during the day? I don't like carrying around a backpack--or really any kind of bag. Maybe I could carry a messenger bag and stuff it in that? I've yet to find a solution I'm really happy with.
