Hi
the question is, how can I do sideburns by myself. I don't wanna go every 2nd day to the barber and I have bought a trimmer as well. Now, today morning I tried to do it myself (1st time round) and I messed up, had a whole in it LOL

After that, I've shaved everything right up to the spot with the hole and then I looked like a freak -.-

So, does anyone have advices how to do them? I want pointy ones. I think I know how to maintain them, but the problem is how to get the shape..

cheers

you must be a young fella. if you're going to do pointy sideburns then you have to keep the whole hairline clean (either rounded out or sharp, depending on your hairline and head shape) or you will look dumb. back in my younger days i got the "edge up" all the time. it's best to use a trimmer to get the shape then use a straight blade (you can get them from sally beauty supply for about 5 bucks) to clean it up. good luck.

If you're thinking it would be better to shave right into the hole, I'd say think again.
