How to determine if RLPL made by EG?

How do you determine if RLPL shoes are made by EG or someone else? Picture examples would be helpful . If they were made by EG, can you get them serviced/repaired/resoled at EG? Never heard of this service being available by RL.

Don't RLPLs usually cost less than EGs? Advice please!

RLPL can be had on sale for less than EG, and also include the trees in the price. AT retail I gather they are a bit more. RLPL is, however, cutting down their ties with EG.

Yes, you can send your shoes back to EG for repair, and they will most likely repair them to look like a pair of EG's, with an EG insole.

I'd echo that ^^. I find some models of RLPL (Asquith / Chelsea) to be nearly 100GBP more expensive than that of EG...
